Patente de Invenção "CULTURA BIOLOGICAMENTE PURA DE UM ISOLADO DE CANDIDA SAITOANA; COMPOSIÇÃO PARA BIO-CONTROLE, CONTENDO UM ISOLADO DE CANDIDA SAITOANA; E PROCESSO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE FRUTAS PARA O CONTROLE DE DOENÇAS PÓS-COLHEITA". Uma composição para bio-controle contendo um microrganismo antagonista e um análogo de açucar (2-deoxi D-glucose) propicia um nível de controle superior àqueles de cada componente quando usados isoladamente e comparável àquele de fungicidas químicos sintéticos. O microrganismo antagonista é um isolado de Candida saitoana e possui resistência à atividade fungicida de a$úcares e análogos de a$úcar.
