A presente invenção através de processo químico da à pele de estômago bovino características de maciez, elasticidade, resistência a rupturas e cores definidas, permitindo o seu uso em fabricação de caLçados, vestuários e artefatos de couros. O referido processo é composto de várias fases que iniciam pela lavagem inicial, depilação, encalagem, desencalagem, purga, píquel, curtimento, recromagem, neutralização, recurtimento, engraxe, alvejamento, amanciamento seco e estriamento, estando finalmente pronta para o consumo.
