Abstract
Processo e aparelho para diferenciar entre chamadas de voz e chamadas de dados em uma rede de telefone celular. Um discriminador de sinal de dados (612) em locais de células (602) para monitorar independentemente canais celulares e detectar a presença de dados modulados, e geração de sinais predeterminados através de um modem celular ou circuito de interface, tal como intruções de cadeia de discagem, tons periódicos ou padrões de dados periódicos durante o estabelecimento da chamada, os quais são detectáveis para identificar as chamadas de dados.
