Abstract
No processo de acordo com a invenção, é reagida uma N-alquilpolihidroxiamina, por exemplo, N-metilglucamina, com um éster alquílico de ácido graxo, e em presença de um catalisador básico. A reação é efetuada em pelo menos duas, de preferência em duas ou três, caldeiras de agitação dispostas em forma de cascata, continuamente, sob certas condições em cada caldeira de agitação. Com o processo de acordo com a invenção, são obtidas amidas de ácido graxo polihidróxi, por exemplo, glucamidas de ácido N-metilgraxo, continuamente, em alto rendimento e pureza.
