Abstract
Trata-se de um processo para o curtimento de couros e peles ("pelli") com produtos à base de sais de titânio, no qual os couros ou peles, descalcinados e macerados, ou seja, em tripa, são mantidos em um mesmo recipiente - especialmente um tambor - para os tratamentos de piquelagem, ou seja, de "pickel", de pré-tratamento, de curtimento e de alcalinização, e depois descarregados e mantidos em estagnação durante um período de mais trinta horas em um ambiente úmido, antes das sucessivas manipulações de recurtimento e outras.
