Abstract
Material melhorado de fibra de reforço livre de asbesto para o uso na manufatura de gaxetas, e similares, o qual compreende: (a) um material aglutinante elastomérico e (b) fibras acrílicas microdenier com um pequeno diâmetro de até cerca de 12 mícrons, e uma mínima relação de aspecto dentro da faixa de 20 - 50 de tal forma a aumentar a flexibilidade e a resistência das gaxetas, das montagens contra choque, dos cintos de regulagem, dos vedantes, e similares, feitos com tais materiais.
