Patente de Invenção de "ARTIGO ABSORVENTE DESCARTÁVEL". Expõe-se um espaçador para utilizar em um artigo absorvente descartável. O espaçador possui uma cobertura externa e uma pluralidade de elementos distintos encerrados pelo cobertura externa. Os elementos distintos podem movimentar-se em relação uns aos outros dentro da cobertura externa. O movimento relativo dos elementos distintos permite que o espaçador se deforme plasticamente em resposta a carregamento flexional, ao mesmo tempo que mantém um espaço vazio fecal no artigo abosorvente sob a carga de compressão.
