Patente de invenção de "MÉTODO PARA APLICAR UM REVESTIMENTO COMPOSTO EM UM SUBSTRATO E SUBSTRATO", incluindo um sistema de revestimento de cor com mais transparência. Um revestimento de base pigmentado ou colorido é primeiramente aplicado a um sbstrato, seguido da aplicação de um revestimento superior transparente sobre o revestimento de base. À composição de revestimento superior transparente é uma composição passível de sofrer ligações cruzadas, compreendendo (1) um material contendo uma pluraridade de grupos funcionais de carbamato e/ou uréia e (2) um agente de ligação cruzada de amimoplástico. À composição de revestimento superior provê um revestimento composto tendo melhor resistência ao ataque ácido, tornando o revestimento composto particularmente útil como revestimento superior automotivo.
