Patente de Invenção de ''MÉTODOS PARA IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE UM PACIENTE CONTAMINDAO COM HIV, PARA DETERMINAR A EFICÁCIA DO TRATAMENTO DE UM PACIENTE HUMANO INFECTADO COM HIV E PROCESSO PARA IDENTIFICAR OS INDIVÍDUOS CONTAMINADOS COM HIV". São divulgados por meio deste, métodos e um agente de diagnóstico para identificar os indivíduos infectados com HIV. O agente de diagnóstico, chamado de C-8.2, cuja concentração é alterada em cerca de 1-3 dias à partir da infeção do HIV, é usado em testes independente dos antígenos e anticorpos do HIV. O C-8.2 encontra-se no soro de todos os mamíferos e é um fosfolipídio ou uma mistura de fosfolipídios relacionados.
