Expõem-se macroestruturas absorventes, porosas que, no contacto com líquidos tais como água ou exsudatos corpóreos ( por exemplo, urina ), incham e absorvem esses líquidos, e são utilidade em artigos absorventes tais como fraldas, chumaços de incontinência para adultos, e absorventes femininos. Estas macroestruturas porosas compreendem partículas absorventes ligadas que são reticuladas na superfície com adutores de amino-epicloridrina, preferencialmente poliméricos, catiônicos.
