Em um absorvente feminino (1), linhas de entalhe longitudinais (40, 41) aplicadas ao núcleo (5) e linhas de cola longitudinais localizadas adjacentes às linhas de entalhe (40, 41), proporcionam a deformação controlada do núcleo (5) de absorvente feminino na compressão lateral e proporcionam resiliência aumentada para o absorvente feminino (1) retornar ao seu estado não-deformado quando as forças de compressão são removidas.
