Patente de Invenção : "MÉTODO E KITS PARA AVALIAR O RISCO DE DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PERIODONTITE" . A presente invenção refere-se a métodos e kits para averiguar ou avaliar o risco de desenvolver presentemente ou mais tarde periodontite ativa, compreendendo: (a) coletar fluido de fenda gengival; (b) medir a quantidade no fluido de fenda gengival de IgA; (c) medir a quantidade no fluido de fenda gengival de um marcador para leucócitos polimorfonucleares; (d) comparar uma razão das quantidades obtidas das etapas (b) e (c) com um padrão.
