Patente de Invenção: "NOVAS PREPARAÇÕES DE ENZIMA E MÉTODOS PARA SUA PREPARAÇÃO". A estrutura dos genes x1n1 e x1n2 de T. reesei e a estrutura primária de proteínas são descritas. Preparações de enzima enriquecidas em enzimas de hemicelulase são descritas. Tais preparações de enzima podem também ser parcialmente ou completamente deficientes em atividade de degradação de celulose. Tais preparações podem ser utilizadas em uma forma bruta, não purificada, e são especilamente úteis na produção de polpa e papel.
