Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "MÉTODO CONTRACEPTIVO UTILIZANDO ANTAGONISTAS COMPETITIVOS DA PROGRESSISTA E NOVOS COMPOSTOS ÚTEIS PARA O MESMO". Antagonistas competitivos da progesterona, incluindo dois novos esteróides, quais sejam: a 11beta, 19-[4-(ciano fenil)-o-fenileno]-17beta-hidróxi-17alfa-(3-hidróxi prop-1(Z)-enil)-4-androsten-3-ona e a 11beta,19-[4-(piridinil)-o-fenileno]-17beta-hidróxi-17alfa-(3-hidróxi prop-1(Z)-enil)-4-androsten-3-ona, inibem a formação de glândulas endometriais abaixo de sua doses inibidora de ovulação e de sua dose abortiva, dessa forma conseguindo a contracepção oral em fêmeas sem afetar adversamente o ciclo menstrual e sem risco de abortar um óvulo previamente implantado ou um feto.
