Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "TRANSFERÊNCIA DE GENES EM AVES POR INTRODUÇÃO DE DNA EM MÚSCULO IN OVO. Um processo para alterar o fenótipo de uma ave compreende introduzir uma molécula de DNA no tecido muscular de uma ave contida dentro de um ovo durante a incubação in ovo . A molécula de DNA é selecionada para ser eficaz para provocar uma mudança no fenótipo, como um aumento na taxa de crescimento, eficácia de alimentação, resposta imunológica, ou uma combinação destes e outros fenótipos na ave após sua saída da casca. Uma molécula de DNA pode ainda ser selecionada para aumentar resistência a doenças, induzir prevenção de doenças, ou neutralizar anticorpos maternos pela expressão de um antígeno com o passar de um período de tempo.
