Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "MÉTODO PARA OTIMIZAR O NÍVEL DE MARTENSITA EM AÇO, MÉTODO PARA OTIMIZAR OS NÍVEIS DE ELEMENTOS EM LIGA DE AÇO MARTENSÍTICO, LIGA DE AÇO INOXIDÁVEL, AGULHA E MÉTODO PARA MINIMIZAR A LIGA COM FASE CHI". É criado um novo e útil preditor para ligas de aço inoxidável de envelhecimento martensítico ("maraging"), denominado a temperatura de acabamento da martensita, M~ f~ (°C). Esta fórmula permite prever a temperatura à qual um aço é totalmente convertido em martensita, e é descrita como M~ f~ = 1027 - 78% Ni - 27% Ti - 34% Mo. Uma liga para agulha desejável para esta quantidade é níquel a 10%, molibdênio a cerca de 2,7% e titânio a cerca de 2%.
