Abstract
É descrito um processo para limpar a superfície de uma estrutura refratária a uma temperatura elevada, especialmente na preparação para soldagem cerâmica. O processo compreende projetar contra a citada superfície um fluxo de pó portando partículas combustíveis em um gás portador contendo oxigênio, pelo que as partículas combustíveis e o oxigênio no gás portador reajam em uma zona de reação na citada superfície, e simultaneamente projetar na citada superfície um fluxo erosivo compreendendo oxigênio, preferivelmente a uma velocidade de descarga maior que a do fluxo de pó, para erodir a citada superfície na vizinhança da zona de reação.
