Abstract

Um impulsor 2 fica colocado adjacente a flats giratórios 8 de tal modo que o fluxo de ar que ele produz remove resíduos, por exemplo apanhados durante um processo de cardagem, dos arames de flat 14 dos flats giratórios 8. Os resíduos são então carregados pelo ar 10 para dentro de um compartimento cilíndrico 16 onde eles são removidos por uma sucção aplicada, sendo que um orifício de escapamento 24 auxilia o fluxo de ar ao longo do compartimento 16, para evacuação dos resíduos 6.
