Abstract
1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluorbutano é preparado, reagindo-se inicialmente 1,1,3,4,4-pentaclorobutadieno-1,3 com fluoreto de hidrogênio em presença de catalisadores, a 60 até 180°C para formar 1,1,1,4,4,4-hexaflúor-2-clorobutano e transformando-se este em 1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluorbutano. No processamento do produto da primeira etapa do processo podem ser isolados novos compostos da fórmula (I) (Vide fórmula) na qual X representa flúor ou cloro e R representa -CHC1-CF~ 2~ C1, -CHC1-CFC1~ 2~ ou -CC1=CC1~ 2~.
