Abstract
A invenção abrange o resfriamento de material a granel quente, especialmente clinquer de cimento, minérios ou semelhantes ,materiais, no interior de um resfriador de grelha, em cuja supefície de grelha de resfriamento é transportado o material a granel, quando é atravessado por uma corrente de gás frigorígeno. Para lograr um grau de resfriamento intenso com superfície de grelha relativamente reduzida, no percurso de transporte do material a granel, diante da saída do resfriador, ao menos uma quantidade parcial de material a granel é removida da camada de material a granel por força de gravidade, em direção descendente.
