Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a um processo hidrometalúrgico para a obtenção de tântalo e nióbio a partir de matérias-primas contendo tântalo e nióbio mediante fusão com ácido fluorídrico puro ou com uma mistura de ácido fluorídrico e ácido sulfúrico, subseqúente extração do solvente dos fluorcomplexos de tântalo e nióbio da solução de fusão com metilisobutilcetona e destilação com vapor de água da fase da cetona orgânica carregada de tântalo e nióbio.
