Em bombas a anel líquido tendo forros lobulares suportados por um fluido com ação de mancal em um espaço anular entre o forro e a carcaça circundante, a carcaça tem pelo menos um canal substancialmente anular formado na carcaça para distribuir o fluido com ação de mancal para uma pluralidade de aberturas circunferentemente espaçadas se estendendo através da carcaça do canal para o espaço anular.
