Abstract

A presente invenção refere-se a películas plásticas perfuradas que compreendem um material polimérico termoplástico estirável com uma pluralidade de microfuros (37) definidos por uma rede de elementos similares a fibras (38). As películas são produzidas dirigindo-se fluidos, especialmente água, contra a superfície superior de uma película de partida em forma de correntes colunares em uma zona de contato, enquanto a película é suportada sobre um elemento de apoio. As películas da invenção são úteis como materiais de revestimento em produtos absorventes tais como fraldas, curativos e absorventes íntimos.
