Abstract
Partículas de pigmento metálico tratadas com um fosfato orgânico ou um composto de vanádio pentavalente e um composto contendo nitro mostram estabilidade aumentada contra ataque pela água. As partículas são especialmente úteis em composições de revestimento aquosas. O composto contendo nitro também pode ser incluído no veículo da composição de revestimento separadamente da pasta de partículas de pigmento metálico.
