Encontram-se descritos um sistema e um aparelho para transferir excesso de ar do compressor (3) de uma turbina de gás de combustão (1, 2) tendo um compressor (3) e um expansor (4) emparelhados, para pelo menos um combustor (17) separado onde ele é misturado com combustível e queimado para acionar pelo menos um expansor (16) não emparelhado. Em uma modalidade preferida, o expansor (16) não emparelhado é uma unidade "fora da prateleira" que pode ser facilmente adquirida e instalada.
