Aço inoxidável martensítico endurecível com precipitação de alta resistência combinada com alta dutilidade. O aço à base de ferro compreende de cerca de 10 a 14% de cromo, cerca de 7 a 11% de níquel, cerca de 0,5 a 6% de molibdênio, até 9% de cobalto, cerca de 0,5% a 4% de cobre, cerca de 0,4 a 1,4% de titânio, cerca de 0,05 a 0,6% de alumínio, carbono e nitrogênio não excedendo 0,05% com ferro como o restante e todos os outros elementos da tabela periódica não excedendo 0,5%.
