Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a obtenção de uma composição aquosa para revestimento, a qual contém uma resina epóxido contendo grupos carboxílicos com um índice de acidez dentro da faixa de 5 até 200 mg KOH/g e um peso equivalente de epóxido dentro da faixa de 1000 até 40000, opcionalmente agente reticulante, solvente orgânico, opcionalmente agentes auxiliares comuns e aditivos bem como opcionalmente pigmentos e cargas. A neutralização da solução orgânica do agente aglutinante sob a utilização de amina terciária ocorre na faixa de temperatura de 60°C até 120°C. Logo a seguir sucede a dispersão em água na medida em que pelo menos 95% dos grupos epóxido são reagidos. As composições aquosas para revestimento obtidas segundo o processo são utilizadas preferivelmente para o revestimento de latas.
