Abstract

A presente invenção proporciona um pigmento magnético de ferrita hexagonal apropriado para aplicações magnéticas de alta densidade. O pigmento se caracteriza por um pequeno tamanhbo de partículas, uma estrutura de magnetoplumbita modificada e um momento magnético relativamente elevado. O pigmento é capaz de ser preparado por queima de partículas de precursor apropriadas em ar a temperaturas abaixo de 850°C.
