Abstract
Melhoramento de retenção de finos melhorada no processo de fabricação de papel usando como o aglutinante uma combinação de hectorita natural e um polímero catiônico de peso molecular médio/alto tendo uma viscosidade intrínseca na faixa de 5 a 25 dl/g e tendo uma densidade de carga de desde 0,01 a 5 equivalentes de nitrogênio catiônico por quilograma. O polímero é adicionado ao carregamento que é então sujeito a alto cisalhamento antes da adição de hectorita.
