Abstract
É apresentado um dispositivo para desidratar uma suspensão de polpa, que compreende uma superfície móvel descoberta (1) para formar e desidratar uma textura de polpa. Em uma entrada (2) para a suspensão de polpa para a superfície móvel (1), é localizada uma câmara cilíndrica (3) que encerra um rotor cilíndrico girável (3), cujo eixo se estende em sentido transversal à direção de fluxo da polpa. O rotor (4) é dotado em sua superfície de uma série de canais (7) dispostos de maneira cruzada. A polpa é forçada a fluir de uma entrada (2) na câmara (3) através dos canais (7) até um saída (6) localizada no lado oposto da câmara (3).
