Abstract
A presente invenção se refere a fibras sintéticas de bicomponentes termoligáveis que compreendem dois componentes diferentes de polietileno, um primeiro componente com alto ponto de fusão compreendendo um polietileno de alta densidade, e um segundo componente com baixo ponto de fusão compreendendo um polietileno linear de baixa densidade, e a um método para a produção das fibras. As fibras são particularmente adequadas para a preparação de tecidos não trançados termicamente ligados para uso médico e para não trançados possuindo maciez superior.
