Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a moléculas (ICAM-3) de adesão celular que são envolvidas no processo através do qual leucócitos reconheçam e migram para sítios de inflamação bem como se ligam a substratos durante inflamação. A invenção diz respeito a tais moléculas, ensaios de filtração para identificar tais moléculas e anticorpos capazes de ligar tais moléculas. A invenção também inclui usos terapêuticos e diagnósticos para moléculas de adesão e para os anticorpos que são capazes de ligar os mesmos.
