Uma escova de dentes (1) empregando uma estrutura de travessa dupla resiliente isenta de ação de pinçamento (10) para ligar o cabo da escova com a cabeça da escova, a estrutura de travessa dupla tendo uma travessa (11) que é mais larga na largura em seção transversal do que a outra travessa (12) de maneira a prevenir que o tecido oral mole penetre na abertura (0) formada entre as travessas e seja pinçado ou beliscado entre pelas superfícies interiores das travessas durante a deformação da estrutura da travessa dupla.
