Abstract
Patente de Invenção "ELETRODO EM ESPIRAL COM RETENTOR DE CONTATO". Está descrito aqui um eletrodo bipolar para monitoração de fetos dotado de um corpo de eletrodo (12a), um eletrodo em espiral (13) que termina em uma ponta para prender no escalpo do feto, e um eletrodo de referência (14) isolado do eletrodo em espiral. A extremidade do eletrodo da qual se estende a espiral inclui uma ou mais protuberâncias (22, 244) na forma de pontas, rampas, nervuras ou algo do gênero, para aumentar a resistência da espiral ao destarraxamento do escalpo do feto ao qual é preso e, portanto, para ajudar a impedir que a espiral desenrole espontaneamente.
