Abstract

Trata-se de uma cruzeta ou cruz (10) para uma junta universal que é fabricada por meio do forjamento da configuração básica da cruz e, por conseguinte, a extrusão dos pinos giratórios (12) em sua configuração final. O componente é inicialmente forjado a quente ou aquecido em sua configuração básica incluindo um corpo central (14) e vários pinos giratórios. Conseqúentemente, os pinos giratórios (12) são extrudados simultaneamente em sua configuração final eliminando a usinagem e a perda de materiais. Como resultado, a orientação de grão do componente não se rompe de uma parte mais segura.
