Abstract
No processo para a purificação de organopolissiloxanos, os organopolissiloxanos são tratados, após sua preparação, com metal elementar. Com isso, são removidas impurezas condicionadas pela preparação, que causam alterações de cor, especialmente no armazenamento com calor, pós-turvações, inibição de catalisadores, estabilidade ao calor deficiente, resistência à ruptura elétrica deficiente ou formação de odor, especialmente após a exposição à luz.
