Compostos da fórmula (I) (vide fórmula (I)) na qual R^ 1^ representa H ou alquila, alquenila, alquinila, alquilsulfonila, fenilsulfonila, alcóxi ou alquilsulfonila (em cada caso substituída), R^ 2^ representa alquila (substituída), fenila (substituída) ou dialquilamino ou R^ 1^ e R^ 2^ representam, juntos, uma cadeia de C~ 3-C~ 4-alquileno (substituída), R^ 3^ representa H, alquila, haloalquila, Hal, NO~ 2~ , CN, alcóxi, haloalcóxi, alquiltio, alcoxialquila, alcoxicarbonila, mono- ou dialquilamino, alquilsulfonila, alquilsulfinila, amidossulfonila (substituída) ou carbonamida (substituída), R^ 4^ representa H ou CH~ 3~ , n = 0 ou 1, m = 1 ou 2, A representa pirimidinila 4,6-dissubstituída (ver reivindicação 1), M representa um cátion mono- ou bivalente (ver reivindicação 1), são adequados como herbicidas e reguladores de crescimento de plantas, a preparação correspondente mediante reação com um alcoolato, carbonato ou amina.
