Um sistema para fixar uma peça de guarnição a um painel, por exemplo, de um veículo, inclui uma cobertura e uma tira retentora formando a peça de guarnição e adesivo para fixar a tira retentora ao painel. A cobertura inclui um conjunto de formações que engatam um conjunto complementar sobre a tira retentora, permitindo que o adesivo retenha ambas sobre o painel. A cobertura pode ser removida sem remover a tira retentora.
