Abstract

Filtros para filtração de metais leves em fusão compreendem uma espuma reticular, tendo uma composição compreendendo grafite, volastonita, sílica e um vidro de fosfato alcalino. Os filtros têm uma dureza baixa, e podem ser usinados acuradamente de peças grandes do material do filtro. Em uma versão preferida, a superfície externa das grandes peças do filtro são revestidas com uma composição, compreendendo grafite e um aglutinante, antes da queima, e então usinados.
