Abstract
Um processo para purificação de índigo compreende o tratamento do índigo com ácido sulfúrico, para dar sulfato de índigo, separação e subseqénte hidrólise do último para formar novamente o índigo, e então tratamento do corante com solução diluída de peróxido de hidrogênio.
