Reator capacitivo para lâmpadas a arco voltaico que exigem sobretensão de ignição, consistindo num circuito com capacitores e diodos (C~ 1~ a C~ 4~ e D~ 1~ a D~ 5~) figura 1, compondo um multiplicador de tensão associado a um arranjo de capacitor (ou capacitores) sem polarização e diodos (C~ 5~ e D~ 6~ a D~ 9~) figura 1, compondo a parte de força; tendo um sistema automático que elimina o efeito do multiplicador sobre a lâmpada, após a ignição. Aplicado na alimentação de lâmpadas a arco voltaico.
