Abstract

Um cabo elétrico compreende um ou mais condutores elétricos alongados isolados (1, 2), uma blindagem elétrica de metal (5) envolvendo os condutores e um fio de puxar (7) que estende-se ao longo do cabo sob a blindagem de maneira que a blindagem pode ser cortada longitudinalmente puxando o fio. O cabo pode ser dilacerado da blindagem e do invólucro simplesmente puxando o fio e então cortando fora a ponta da blindagem e do invólucro. Se desejado, um segundo fio de puxar convencional pode ser localizado entre a blindagem e o invólucro de maneira a permitir que o invólucro seja removido e a blindagem exposta.
