Abstract
Um elemento vedante incorporado é ligado diretamente à superfície de encosto e filetes de rosca selecionados de um fixador rosqueado. O vedante é um material à base de olefina ou poliolefina, flexível, macio e é projetado para escoar entre a superfície de encosto do fixador e a superfície de apoio em contato de encontro, de receptáculo à medida em que o fixador é apertado atarraxadamente no receptáculo, a fim de criar uma vedação hermética entre o fixador rosqueado e o receptáculo.
