Abstract
A presente invenção trata de uma barreira (1) para um isolador dotado de uma parte central ou haste com uma pluralidade de campânulas se estendendo da mesma. A barreira (1), em uso, está localizada entre campânulas adjacentes do isolador e compreende uma folha (2) de material dielétrico tendo uma ou mais descontinuidades na sua superfície. As descontinuidades podem ser na forma de orifícios (3, 24) na superfície ou na forma de uma junta entre as bordas cortadas (2) da barreira (1).
