Abstract

Trata-se de um aparelho de abafador (242) com passagem lateral até um elemento acústico (250, 270). A estrutura da passagem lateral varia da passagem lateral externa até um elemento acústico comum (250, 270) até a passagem anular do filtro cerâmico até a passagem axial através do meio de um filtro cerâmico anular (256, 254). A regenaração para frente ou inversa é possível. A passagem lateral até a atmosfera sem filtração é impedida com retentores em linha duplos (256, 254) ou com o retentor segmentado e o controle dos gases de escapamento até retentores que não são regenerados.
