Abstract

Um processo para beneficiar um minério de bentonita bruta de tal modo que ele pode ser usado vantajosamente para preparar viscosidade de solução aquosa inabitualmente altas. Esta seqúência compreende sujeitar inicialmente o minério bruto a um estágio de processamento ou de cisalhamento, seguido por uma etapa de secagem até aproximadamente um nível de umidade de 5%. O Na~ 2~CO~ 3~ é então misturado a seco com o material e a seqúência é completada sujeitando a mistura a uma etapa de pulverização.
