Abstract
Um agente limpante, por exemplo água, para um motor de combustão interna é adicionado à proporção da vazão do combustível, ar ou mistura combustível/ar, fornecida ao motor. A adição é controlada por um sensor de escoamento de fluido (10) que produz uma saída de pulso indicativa da vazão de fluido. A saída é alimentada a um circuito condicionador (30) que produz um pico de tensão para acionar um injetor (16A) numa câmara de mistura (26). A medição direta da vazão de fluido fornece uma indicação imediata e precisa da quantidade de aditivo requerida à medida que a vazão muda.
