Abstract
Processo e dispositivo para a purificação de gases de escapamento, especialmente de gases de escapamento de motores a diesel, onde os gases de escapamento são conduzidos através de um canal (36a) de um corpo cerâmico (36), em cujo canal (36a) é gerado um campo elétrico essencialmente transversal à direção de fluxo, sendo que as partículas de fuligem depositadas nas paredes do canal (36a) são oxidadas por íons livres ou depositados em oxigênio.
