Abstract

Uma máquina que converte o movimento alternativo de um pistão (21) no movimento rotativo de um eixo (26). O eixo (26) gira um braço de manivela integral (25) que contém diversas rodas com lóbulos (23) espaçadas igualmente ao redor de um circulo primitivo centralizado no eixo (26). As rodas com lóbulos (23) são acionadas planetariamente por pinhões (27) e por uma engrenagem de anel fixa (34). As rodas com lóbulos (23) possuem um formato aproximadamente de estrela com lóbulos que se estendem radialmente que empurram seguidores (32) para fora, em seguida liberam-nos para dentro, enquanto as rodas com lóbulos orbitam passando pelo seguidor (32) e abaixo do mesmo. O seguidor (32) é conectado por uma alavanca (22) e um par de bielas (36 e 37) ao pistão (21).
