Abstract
Um processo para a fabricação de uma sonda ótica compreende formar uma curva da fibra em uma fibra ótica, colocar a curva de fibra sobre um mandril, aguentar a fibra retesada, aplicar material capsulante à fibra ótica, curar o material capsulante, remover o mandril, aplicar material capsulante adicional para, dentre outras coisas, preencher o espaço anteriormente ocupado pelo material, e curar o material capsulante.
